All Datto devices use advanced encryption technology to keep data secure at all times. During both transmit and storage, data is fully encrypted using bank grade AES 256 and SSL key-based encryption. This powerful encryption ensures data cannot be accessed.
Datto follows strict security protocol and customer data stored off-site is cryptographically inaccessible to datto employees. Should a device ever be lost or stolen Datto has the ability to remotely wipe all data stored on the device and collect critical information about the location of the device which can be given to law enforcement.
